College Life #1

Surprisingly, I thought today might be as cooling as the past few days but it didn't. The weather here is really unpredictable and the weather forecast is pretty useless except for the one on TCOLE website. Haha.

Woo! Suddenly feel like blogging about my college life! So let's start, shall we?

I've got a Literature Tutorial this morning from 11am untill 12.30pm.

Went home to feed my empty and growling stomach.

Went back to college for Literature Lecture from 1.45pm until 3.15pm.

Guess what? We were learning about 2 poems which are "The Sketch" by Mike Heald and " The Road Not Taken " by Robert Frost.

Unusually, Mike who wrote the poem, is our Lit Teacher.

As for the latter, we Malaysians learnt that poem during our Form 4 high school year.

" ...Two roads diverged in a yellow wood..."

That's my favourite poem of all times honestly.

What's interesting is that, we even learnt that there had been a debate between George W Bush and Barack Obama on the poem " The Road Not Taken "few years back. >__<

I had to rush off for Chemistry Lecture from 3.45pm untill 5.15pm. We got chocolate buttons during the lecture from our lecturer. Heh.

Great happiness comes when having a bubble tea after finishing all your homework. ;)

This is crazy! The temperature hits 14.1 degree celsius today!

Luckily my sis and I went for steamboat somewhere in the city.

I am satisfied when we bought 2 crepes peach ice creams for all ( custard, ice cream and cream) from melbourne central. Lol.

Time to get back to work :)

Hello peeps!

In case you haven't noticed, March is here!

And it's freaking cold and windy in melbourne here :(

I seriously like cold weather, but not thissss cold

(eg : the temperature hits 15.4 degree celsius today--it's crazy)

I realized that I did have so much fun in orientation compared to that in lectures.

Besides, I would have to do 100m sprint if I'm late for class.

Reminder : the campus buildings are scattered around in the city so sometimes I might get lost.

Luckily we've got a map at the last page of our student diary but it only helps a little.

And hwee... if the breeze was strong enough just now, I would not be sitting at my table now and posting this blog post because I nearly got blown away by it! No kidding. It's true.

A lot of weird names appeared in Chemistry though. It's freaking me out.

Well... I think that's all for now. Yes! I've only got 2 classes tomorrow!

I know I know... some may think that I'm showing off and being proud to be here in melb.

Honestly, I do not feel that way.

I understand that, sometimes I do feel a bit offended when I was half-way reading through people's blogs. For instance, they post things up like how good is Aus or NZ compared to Malaysia and stuff. Nah. I seriously do not feel it that way--trust me :)

I thank my parents for giving me a chance to further my studies here. and I appreciate it.
